I think this 2 dog leash would work exceptionally well with 2 small dogs that like to walk close together and are similar in age. The hardware on this leash would be more than adequate for small dogs. I should have thought this through before I ordered it because the leash was for an aged Great Pyrenees and a 8 month old Pyrenees Doodle mix. In this case the hardware on the leash wasn’t enough the bungees weren’t strong enough.
