I don't know why this item only got 2 stars. It's EXACTLY what I wanted, and I love it! I replaced a regular queen size bed in our 2nd bedroom (because it made the room useless), and I now have a room which has become MY office and a quiet respite after my husband has gone to bed--I'm a night owl, he's an early bird. I love the desk attachment!!! Honestly don't think the bed will be used much, but it's necessary if we have overnight guests. The assembly, according to my better half, is a bit challenging and not for the inexperienced. The finished assembly, for the price, is a bit disappointing--exposed screw holes, hinges and shelf adjustment holes. Maybe cheesy, but a couple of sheets of paint-matched adhesive "dots" would've been nice to camouflage the holes. I don't think there's an answer for the hinges supporting the desktop (they're not that noticeable and they match the handle hardware). The only other disappointment, for me, is the color. It is most definitely NOT WHITE!! My walls are painted a WHITE BASE white. I would love to be provided with the exact color that is used in the manufacturing process, so I have touch-up paint for nicks and dings. I am LOVING my new room!. Anonymous. Sat Jan 17 2026

This is definitely a 2 person install and the directions could be a little clearer. The instructions did not clarify to install the spacer board prior to installing the back wall frame and we could not insert it after the fact. But overall, excellent purchase/delivery experience. I noticed someone indicated the wood was poor quality, but I have to disagree. This is not particle board rather a sturdy wood. This will be a great addition to our office/guest room making most of our space in our tiny home! Delivery guys were communicative and helpful !!! The shipment arrives in 4 separate boxes. I purchased this from Wayfair. The quality is good. I was surprised how many boxes in the delivery. The set needs extensive installation. All the pieces need to be assembled. The packing was a work of art. Very carefully packed with tons of styrofoam. It took me about 16 hours to put all three pieces together. The bed was the hardest. It needs to be securely attached to studs in the wall. I was able to put it together mostly by myself. My wife helped a couple times on the larger items. It would have been easier to have a helper. The instructions could have been better. The graphics are excellent but it's light on explanations. There was only one problem. The desk that swivels has hinges and the hinges were installed on the wrong edge of the board. I was able to move them to the other side of the board.. Robert. TX. Sun Nov 01 2020
