The instructions were very well written and easy to follow, though it did take some brain power to make sure everything went together the correct way or you could end up with a backwards piece. The rigid outside givess full support while the flexible inner seat conforms better to an infant or child making it more comfortable. The harness secures your child safely in the seat. It's easy to hang with the adjustable ropes and metal clips. We had it hung up in our gazebo within a couple of minutes. All items came in one box! There are a lot of parts, especially the nuts and bolts, but each different one is identified and sealed so they dont get mixed up. These are the best instructions I think I have ever used. The parts are identified and the pictures are clear and completely identifiable and well marked.
