The wonderful advantage of owning an UltrAtomic wall clock is that it is virtually trouble free. La Crosse Technology’s UltrAtomic Analog Clock is the only atomic clock on the market that receives the new NIST broadcast, offering greatly improved reception and reliability. The advanced technology, with its dual antenna, allows the signal to “break through” barriers like cement walls that previous versions cannot, making it a great addition to any office, classroom, hospital, or home. Operates on 2 “C” alkaline batteries, and additional battery compartment, you may extend battery life up to 5 years without replacing. Eco-mode will pause hands for extra power-saving, and Quartz mode offers manual time setting. Glass lens protect the metal hands that tick around the analog dial.
We love this clock! Its look is sharp and sophisticated. The tick-tock is subdued such that it doesn’t sound like we have a metronome in our bedroom. We can easily read the accurate time, without squinting, from our bed.
Initially, the clock arrived with a shattered glass face cover. We could see, via our front door video camera, that the delivery person had just flung the package up onto our porch, even though FRAGILE was clearly printed it. We called Wayfair and they responded graciously with an immediate replacement. We did ship the broken clock back to Wayfair, so that they could share the damaged parts with the shipping company..
