[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not really a very good gardener and I have a hard time getting my flowers to grow strong and continue to grow strong so I gave this product a try. The bag is a good size for a smaller garden. It does take a decent amount to cover a larger area. I have a townhouse so it took care of my smaller garden area perfectly. I added it to my South Florida dirt and my flowers responded well. It is easy to apply and I would definitely use garden gloves to avoid getting in on you. I feel like the flowers are responding well and have been blooming a little more often. I hope that with continued use in my area that I can grow even better plants. Wakefield Premium Compost is a nutrient-high soil amendment from organic matter. This product has many uses as it does benefits. Wakefield Premium Compost could be a topdressing on established grass, a part of a custom soil mix for an annual vegetable garden, or the base for laying sod.This compost is aged, which is considered to be finished or cured compost. This means that the feedstock has gone through a 4- to 6-month thermic windrow process. The temperatures are documented weekly so that the material reaches between 130 and 160 degrees. This allows active fungi and bacteria to push the decomposition process. After the windrows have matured, the material is screened and rests an additional 30-day to ensure matured cured compost.
