There's no end to the uses you'll find for these rustic, versatile wooden bowls. Hand carved by artisans, each is crafted with care from the discarded root balls of Chinese fir trees, which makes each one truly one-of-a-kind with unique cracks, variations, and undulations. They're absolutely stunning in any space as part of your accent décor. Perfect as a gift basket alternatives during the holidays or year-round, they make great reusable gift containers too.
The bowls are untreated, so cracks and variations will occur. As dryness may encourage further cracking, please keep your bowl out of direct sunlight or heat. Regular oiling with food-grade oil will help keep it moist and beautiful. Not recommended for cooked foods or liquids. Before use, wipe clean with a damp sponge.
This basket is one of my favorite Wayfair products. It took me weeks to convince myself I should actually buy it. Seems very expensive for a basket that just will be sitting on a table with rattan balls in it, the kind of balls with no purpose but for decorating a room, not practical at all. I really have been thinking about how those impractical balls would look just sitting there in the wooden basket doing nothing at all. Most of my life I would never even have noticed those insignificant balls nor this basket. But I can’t possibly explain in a review how happy I feel just looking at my new basket of balls. To me, it’s part of my new signature art. I don’t plan to ask my husband what he thinks about it he might not have the same artistic flair I do. Fancy blue balls to match my blue willow dishes or just apples in fall—any number of things can honor this basket! By the way, mine has 2 not so elegant knotholes in it’s wood , an advantage to a wooden basket. You really should get one.. Gg. Show-me State. Mon May 17 2021
