Vintage Harvest Mushroom Wood Accent Wall Kit, Varying Length and Width, 16 Sq. Ft. No, there are no mushrooms in the wood.... anymore!  However, this Hemlock wood was used in garden beds to grow mushrooms for years. After many years the wood gets an unbelievable weathered texture that only Mother Nature can provide. The brown tones are one of a kind and cannot be found in any other wood. We carefully remove the boards from the growing beds, power wash each board, then Kiln dry them to kill any bugs and then begin the milling process. The planks are 1/2'' thick with lengths up to 48''. This unique wood is definitely a statement piece! Everyone will notice this gorgeous wood as soon as they walk into any room.

I was very happy with this selection of shiplap boards. They were rustic, and easy to work with. Lots of different sizes and shapes allowed me to do something that was creative and not just uniform all the way across. No odors, no bad pieces. They helped me create something very unique. I ended up making a simple backdrop to use as a photo backdrop for other projects. the wood is high quality and beautiful. you should worry about possibly splinters. and the wood is easy to install. using wood glue works just fine!.
