Our Terra-Cotta barrels are the perfect color to match your terra-cotta planters and hanging pots. The color blends in well with red brick homes. Heavy Duty Screening keeps mosquitoes out. Our rainbarrels are uniquely designed with plastic fittings that match the rate of expansion and contraction of barrel plastic from season to season to avoid leakage. These rainbarrels are repurposed from pre-used overseas food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rainbarrels are made of High Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will disspiate after a few full barrel filling cycles. We use a PH balanced, environmentally friendly soap when cleaning so that the water gathered can immediately be used on plants without harm. For a homeowner that has downspouts that are extended at the ground or downspouts that go directly into the ground. The automatic diverters are made from upcycled vinyl fence post covers and attach directly to our rain barrels via an attachment hose. Universal size automatic rain water diverter to fit either a 2" x 3" or 3" x 4" downspout. Barrel will fill when empty. It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. I had my heart set on THIS composter, and sadly couldn't find it anywhere else, trust me I looked. I planned to turn it into R2D2. Which I did. The body took the spray paint well. This netting is the perfect inexpensive solution for the gardener who wants a rain barrel but doesn’t want a rain barrel that draws attention. This is a black plastic netting that comes with clips to hold it around the barrel. Since our Rain Barrels are meant to stay outside all year, the perfect choice of plant coverage would be a perennial plant can be grown over the barrel and provide coverage all year long.

The plant hangers are made from stainless steel and aluminum strapping. These were used for securing shipping crates for overseas shipment. They are used because they are not affected or damaged by salt water. We pick these up in the Chicagoland area and Upcyle them into the plant hangers. They are made to accept a standard 4" diameter or smaller pot. The plant hangers allow the homeowner to blend their rain barrel into the yard with a more aesthetically pleasing look.

Arrived in great condition, simple set up. Seems well made. You don't need to be extremely precise on gutter orientation. We have about a 24" gap from open down spout to the barrel opening. Before we had a chance to correct that it rained and it filled just fine. Ordering a second one to link together using a short length of flexible garden hose with female fittings on both ends.
