A well made chicken coop. It comes mostly in pre assembled sections making assembly relatively easy. I had a couple areas where I messed up and had to back track so read the instructions twice over and look at the pictures closely. It took longer to put together than I thought, but it’s perfect. My daughters and I are ecstatic! As for the little critters…. They seems very pleased so far. The chicken wire came with a hole in it, which we patched right up. Easy peasy. The directions were wonky. Everything is self explanatory except the hardware for lock. One tiny picture to show at one angle. And last the stakes to secure it are very flimsy, made me laugh. If you live in the PNW you’re going to want to get better ones to hold it down. This is a really nice chicken coop. It did take three people to put it together and took us a total of 5 hours to put together.(older people so took longer) It will fit 6-8 regular chickens but we put 10 frizzle chickens in it with plenty of space for them. (frizzles are less than half the size of regular chickens) The wire around the bottom is great at keeping out predetors but we dug down about a foot and put wire to keep them from digging under. I really love the size of it. Putting the frame together was way quicker than I expected. However, the roof portion was very difficult. The wood beams were slightly warped so the wholes on the roof panels were not lining up. Two of us were able to assemble in a weekend (frame in 2 hours but the roof took forever) It seems sturdy, it is real wood, but it does seem the wood would wear down or rot fast.
