I can keep the prep cart in my yard, which is quite heavy, and if I want to take the smoker out to a park, I can simply remove it and fit it in my car. I just bought it today. It took me alone 25 minutes to put together. It is replacing a 2000 Weber Genesis gold C that became unstable because a leg rusted off. I bought the griddle accessory as well. Had to buy at local retailer because they had both products in stock and combined price was a better price than on-line price even factoring my veteran status. So far, so good. It heated up to 500 degrees and the side burner started on the second attempt. It took me 25 minutes because I had to disconnect the left side platform to install the rear top panel that wasn't initially in the correct position. Assembly: The cart was fairly easy to assemble, with most pieces fitting into slots or holes and sticking. One negative- The side piece with the cutting board kept disconnecting and falling off, especially when trying to move the cart. Portability: the cart has wheels that are easy to maneuver and move, but also can be locked for stability. The one con was mentioned above- the side piece comes off easily. Storage: the grill piece is very portable and easy to move. The major downside to this set up is that there is no cover for the grill, which makes long-term protection and storage difficult. I can’t speak to longevity because I haven’t owned it for long- but we made a makeshift cover for short term.
