This 2-light outdoor ceiling mounted light features iron frames finished in matte black, paired with water glass panels, weather-resistant and rust proof, which is an ideal outdoor wall light selection for the front door, porch, entryway, backyard to enhance traditional, vintage, farmhouse, rustic, or even coastal looks.
A removable glass diffuser is included at the bottom of the light. By unscrewing the bottom finial to remove the diffuser, you can remove it when you need to change light bulbs or want more direct down light.
This exterior ceiling light includes a built-in PIR infrared motion-activated detector and a dusk to dawn photocell sensor.
Upon installation, when the powered is connected, the light will go through a brief Warm-up process for initial activation, then the light will be able to work under below 4 modes upon rotating the dial:
1. Test mode(use when needed): Rotate the left dial to "Test" position, the fixture remains off until motion is detected. Upon sensing motion, the light will illuminate and stay on as long as movement continues. Once motion stops, the light will automatically turn off after approximately 5 seconds. This mode allows you to conveniently test sensor functionality while conserving energy.
2. Auto Mode(Motion Sensor mode) : Rotate the left dial to "Auto" position. At night, the light turns on once motion is sensed and will stay illuminated as long as movement continues. After motion stops, the light stays on for a preset duration (adjustable from 5 seconds to 3 minutes by rotating the left dial), and then automatically turns off.
3. DTD Mode(Dusk to Dawn mode): Rotate the left dial to "DTD" position. In this mode, the fixture will automatically turn on at dusk, and remains illuminated until dawn.
4. Manual override mode(Timed Dusk to Dawn mode): In Auto Mode, you can activate the Manual Override by quickly switching your wall switch OFF -- ON within 2 seconds. The light will then remain continuously illuminated for approximately 5.5 hours, or until daylight is detected. Once the sensor detects daylight, the fixture automatically returns to Auto Mode. To manually exit Override Mode and revert to Auto Mode, simply repeat the same operation (turning the wall switch OFF and then ON within 2 seconds).
This semi flush mount is equipped with 2 x E26 medium base sockets, requiring 2 × 60 Watt Max NON Dimmable incandescent bulbs, or equivalent LED bulb. Bulbs need to purchased separately
