This arrived well packaged with no issues. It is heavy duty. Its made up of 4 glass panels with corner connectors you attach yourself using a Philips screwdriver. There are heat resistant feet that hold it up about an inch for an air gap needed by the burners. I would not use my firepit without it since it protects those sitting near from the flames blowing their direction, or being blow out. Glass is nice, arrived well packaged and we were impressed by the quality. We ordered it to keep rain out of the pit but the 2 holes in it defeat the purpose.
