So far its great! We have had it installed (husband did it with his friend) for about 1 month. It is fairly quiet but really powerful on the highest level. Ive noticed. I haven't even had to use the highest level yet. The light is super bright. I wish there was more than one level to the light though. It was fairly easy and straightforward to unstall. The problem we had was our vent hole was smaller than the stencil overlay so we didnt know what to do initially. We figured it out, had to cut the hole! It worked out. So far we are very happy with it. We have open concept kitchen and smells do not float upstairs anymore! That was my major qualm with the over ranger microwave hood. All the smells would float upstairs. Now I dont have that issue!. Sandy. Rio Rancho, NM. Fri Jul 24 2026

Very nice! But too big. This range hood is for a larger or commercial size range. The cabinets hanging on the sides of our stove won’t allow this to be installed. Looks great and heavy. It’s solid and I would recommend but only if you have a commercial grade. Really nice for the right kitchen!. Ersula. US. Tue Jan 20 2026

I would NOT purchase this item. It had no company information or identifying information on the product or box. There was no manual for installing or using the product in the box. Wayfair now has a link to a manual, but when clicked on it says, "File not found". When I reached out to Wayfair, the manual they sent did not match the hood fan, which took more than 48 hours, which is the window of most items to be returned. As I hired a professional to install the item, they could not review the item and manual together. I tried to find out information from Terisitar, but could not find any corporate information, so it is not clear who manufactures this item. Furthermore, when the item was delivered the box was so battered, despite having “FRAGILE” written very boldly. However, READ RETURN FINE PRINT, because with some items, if you open the box, it cannot be returned!. Lisa. Edmonton, AB. Sat Sep 12 2026
