Just snap the stake in the bottom and the light on the top, then hit on. Let it charge in the sun during the day and done. I LOVE that it's solar. I have an amazing video, but the app wouldn't accept it. I'm not sure why. I've tried for a week. It really is a great light. I have a broken piece on my ramp from the winter storm, and this keeps anyone from falling bc it lights it up so well. Performance is everything I would expect and more.
