I switched the footrest bars to make sure it wasn’t a manufacturing defect. Once I figured it out and everything aligned properly, it only took a couple of minutes to finish. Then resin arm separated f Frame which I super glued back together, so that wasn’t a bad thing The worst on two of the chairs, the sides that you sit on, they  snapped in the middle so no one can sit on them and I paid a lot of money for them so you know I’m kind of concerned. Although my husband and I followed directions I must say that we did run into a little side hiccup when it came to the arm rest. It didn't match up with the directions. So maybe we looked at it wrong but with persistent we figured it out. I wouldn't over tighten just incase you run into the same difficulties we did. It's an exceptional outdoor piece that will stay vibrant red without fading or peeling. The way the boards slightly curve makes it super comfortable and easy to get in and out of. I did need my daughter to hold on to a part while I assembled it because I did want to make sure it was done correctly. I’m picky but just a heads up in case you will need assistance with that part as well. Two of the pieces were labeled incorrectly but it wasn’t hard to figure out what and how. Directions were easy to understand as well. This is a heavy and sturdy piece of furniture. I do love that this isn’t wood but a hard thick plastic. The ability to have the cup holder to be tucked away when not in use is also a feature that I appreciate. The cup holder holds moats beverages perfectly with no issues. This is by far one of the most comfortable pieces of lawn furniture I have sat in. I love the angle it offers and the comfort is spot on. This hasn’t scratched at all and we have had many people sit in this and enjoy it. It does sit out in the sun and I haven’t noticed any sun damage. The color is absolutely stunning. I did need my daughter to hold on to a part while I assembled it because I did want to make sure it was done correctly. I’m picky but just a heads up in case you will need assistance with that part as well. Two of the pieces were labeled incorrectly but it wasn’t hard to figure out what and how. Directions were easy to understand as well. This is a heavy and sturdy piece of furniture. I do love that this isn’t wood but a hard thick plastic. The ability to have the cup holder to be tucked away when not in use is also a feature that I appreciate. The cup holder holds moats beverages perfectly with no issues. This is by far one of the most comfortable pieces of lawn furniture I have sat in. I love the angle it offers and the comfort is spot on. This hasn’t scratched at all and we have had many people sit in this and enjoy it. It does sit out in the sun and I haven’t noticed any sun damage. The color is absolutely stunning.
