These wooden registers is a 1/4 ” panel with 2 holes for installation. For non standard sizes we do not include the holes so you can match the holes you already have in you drywall. If you don’t need the holes in these standard sizes, please let us know so, otherwise these standard sizes will have the holes predrilled. We include 2 steel screws.-Our registers are made to screw in the drywall. Some customers like to get creative so they recessed their drywall by ¼” depth so the register will look flush to the wall/ceiling . BUT the installation process it is up to the customers.-All our decorative wall and ceiling registers come unfinished in natural wood, so customers can paint or stain them in a color of their choice. The pictures displayed give you an idea of what you can do with the Stellar Air vent products.-How to Measure:Our craftsmen will fabricate a register to fit your supply duct opening.*Remove the old register from the wall or ceiling to expose the actual duct opening.*Measure the inside dimensions of the duct opening.*The width will always be listed first, followed by the length.-When making your selection by the duct opening, please read the information below with the overall size of the vent. If the opening is against the wall or ceiling and do not have enough room around, send us a picture so we can customize a size that will fit.Important Note: Our register DO NOT come with louvers or dampers box to control airflow.
