Beware Wayfair as website has false advertising (this tub above DOES NOT HAVE AIR AND WHIRLPOOL...I took it anyhow and lost $400 whirlpool option), BUT I bought it anyhow due to great representative, Krystal Joseph at SeaScapes Tubs, Miami and Jeff Baggs help from Wayfair. Originally I saw this tub on many websites for around $1699, sent Wayfair a request for manufacturer info, never heard back, price went up to $1799, which has cost me time and money for my design project. Atlanta designer, using personal home as showhouse, began process of ordering Capricia Air/Whirlpool tub from Wayfair weeks ago and found that the website had much false advertising/info and I'm still finding out info that was wrong even today. Orignally the tub was priced at $1699.00 advertising both Air/Whirlpool option, which is great. I was concerned about tub brand, so made a web request from Wayfair of manufacturer of tub, NEVER HEARD BACK, which cost me over a week and price of tub jumped to $1799 while I waited for answer. Now I am behind schedule on my project and overbudget and have LOST my whirlpool option, as advertised. I finally found manufacturer myself, SpaScapes of Miami, located great sales rep, Krystal Joseph, who educated me on the specs of the tub, which were WRONG on Wayfair website. The tub CANNOT be ordered with the offered and very important option of dual Air/Whirlpool, so I had to choose ONE, loosing a $500 value option that I had bragged about to clients advertising my ability to "find the best bargains and quality". I did finally order the tub ( had a 10% off coupon, but lost that in price change) through Wayfair with Jeff Baggs, a great sales rep, who is working on a "post order" discount to minimize some of the problems with the false advertising, cover my $100 loss with the price change and compensate for the $500 loss of the promised whirlpool option. Hopefully this will keep us out of small claims court, which one of my clients (attorney) said woudl be a "slam dunk case". Other issues with the Wayfair site; all the options on tub are not listed, so had to order chromatherapy lights, special drain and aromatherapy beads from manufacturer and most customers would NOT know how to do this, so woudl loose these options. Also the drain location, which is a huge project "killer", is listed wrong. In Wayfairs reviews; one customer had to return the tub as the drain was advertised on Wayfair site wrong for her plumbing, bummer, hope they paid for her time, shipping and gave her a huge deserved discount. The Capricia tub has a small end of tub drain and the drain that MUST BE ORDERED special for THIS TUB IS $200, YIKES, BAD SURPRISE and is not even available on Wayfair website. I am still waiting to hear if the promised 10 year warranty is correct and assume the airjet heater is included. Pros: Looks great Cons: Haven't installed yet, but looks great.. Atlanta Designer. GA. I loves it...... It has a whirlpool and air blower. My constructors did it on 2 weeks ago, and put a beautiful dark tan and blue tiles, and beautiful white with dark tan marble granite for surround tub, and counter top, slabs too.
