Comes standard to run on natural gas but also available for liquid propane use.

Picture of product is a little deceiving. Pic shows a surround around the fireplace which is not included, instead being a $500 accessory. Also description talks about accessories, but those are included with and upgraded version of this with a different part number. I don't find them available for this one.. Thomas. Colchester, CT. The Tahoe 45ol outdoor linear gas fireplace has been built tough to weather whatever the elements can throw at it. This unit allows wood framing and can be installed without a surround, finishing material installed right up to the glass for a simplified modern look, or with the durable 3” stainless steel surround. The unit even comes with a stainless steel cover for protection when not in use. Tahoe 45ol comes with a rock and Black Onyx fire glass media, and a stainless steel frame.

The quality of this fire place seemed good and it was nice looking. Unfortunately, it was damaged and we will not be able to use the unit.. Karla. Alvin, TX. Sun May 01 2022
