After researching a lot of options, I chose this safe due to its greater capacity to resist higher temperature fires and standing for several days in water, as well as its certification for holding small firearms. it's a compact size with a heavy-duty design. The extra mechanical keys are great to have in case there is a problem with the electronic keypad. The shelves are padded and there is additional storage in the inside of the door. It's helpful to have the bolt-down kit that will deter anyone from attempting to remove the safe from its location. I want to start off by saying this is my 4th purchase from Wayfair and it has been the only delivery with a hiccup. My safe arrived with a few black marks on the exterior and the inside needed some cleaning, so the delivery wasn’t perfect. But honestly, the way Sanctuary handled it is exactly why I’m leaving five stars. I reached out to customer service and they immediately gave me options they would arrange to take the safe back and issue a full refund, or I could keep it and receive 20 off my purchase. I decided to keep it because the safe itself is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I asked if they could tell me the paint color so I could touch up the marks myself, and instead, they offered to send me a bottle of matching paint. Things don’t always arrive perfectly. To me, what matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong. I dealt with actual humans who were helpful, responsive, and genuinely wanted to make it right. The safe is beautiful, I’m happy with my purchase, and based on the customer service alone, I would absolutely purchase from Sanctuary again and recommend them to others. The safe arrived damaged from the carrier. I was assured by Sanctuary that the safe left their warehouse in perfect condition so they could do nothing to help me. The safe is well built and locking mechanism works well. Since the damage did not affect the function of the safe (cosmetic) and was not visible where I placed it I decided to keep it as Wayfair offered me a discount.
