This was just what I needed to make it easy to prevent the wheels of my rolling laundry cart from catching up on the 1 1/4" high threshold of the doorway. Most of the other ramps are 6" or more deep which I feared could cause someone to trip when simply walking through the doorway. Installation instructions suggest cutting the ramp's edge to fit perfectly flush against the threshold and using adhesive to affix the ramp to the floor. I simply laid the ramp on the floor and it stays put when rolling the laundry cart through the doorway.
