These are Not golden or amber as the pictures shows when lit. They are still white. Plus they have a very sticky residue on the top. This finial did the trick. My lamp has had a finial that was slightly crooked for years, and it always bugged me. When we moved to a new home and I began furnishing our place with new and lovely pieces, I debated getting rid of the lamp. That seemed extreme, especially because the lamp is a favorite.
