PUR-fect Pur Pitcher! I am so glad my old Pur Pitcher broke! PUR made great improvements and I wouldn't have known unless I had to replace it. The handle is thicker and sturdier with a rubberized side to stop from slipping. The lid stays on tight and you pour the water through a hole. With the old version you had to take off the entire lid and regular water spilled through. The lid spout also stays on so no air gets in. When you pour the water it flips open and then closes on its own. Cool! It has a light on top so each time you pour water the light will eventually turn red when to change the filter. The old version had a tapered shape so it was unbalanced at the bottom. This new version has a more balanced straight shape to stop from toppling over.
