i’ve had this cage for five years and It’s perfect for medium sized birds. The tray is removable which makes it super easy to clean. the grate above it is also removable and acts as the “floor. there are gates on the front and back, as well as some some small ones on the right and right side to put food and water bowls in easily. it’s also on wheels so even though it’s big it’s easy to move around. there’s also a small “shelf” underneath the cage part which makes it easy to store food and treats or toys.. We bought this addition for our ferrets house HOPING it was the right one to fit. It fit like a glove. Our ONLY complaint is that the front panel had the brackets (to attach it to our existing cage) welded on the top, so we had to install it upside down to make it work. The door swings on the left, not the right, which is backwards, but it works. We just turned the latching hardware around to make it lock "right". Thankfully we are handy enough to figure that out.. My cockatiel's name is Angel and she has been with us for around 23 years or so. I recently had purchased a large cage for her but it was way too big and she stayed in one corner on a perch all the time. This cage seems more comforting for one bird, or two.
