This is a great litter pan. It’s very sturdy and waste material scoops out very easily. My only problem is that I bought it to fit inside the Mize litter box enclosure and checked the measurements carefully. The pan would have fit perfectly; however, there is a lip around the edge that made it just a smidge too large and the litter box enclosure would not close. I am using this as a 'cup' to hold a large kitty litter box. My cats are large, and they tend to knock over the regular covered litter box, so I purchased this one to 'hold' the regular kitty litter box inside of it. This is beyond cute, and my little 10 pound toy poodle mix loves it! She is having so much fun going up and down the steps to her 'lookout perch' to make sure the 'house is safe'. The box was a bit heavy for me (66 year old female) but once I opened it and took everything out one at a time piece by piece, I was fine. I purchased two of these to put side by side underneath my picture window (haven't assembled the second one yet). The cushion that comes with it is fine, but by making the perch on top longer, I will be able to use her favorite pillow instead (securing wth velcro).
