Valuing casual comfort over-excessive ornamentation, this office chair means business. Its cozy seat is upholstered in heathered fabric and features a high back and padded arms, and trim piping. What’s more, the seat swivels and tilts, and a locking tilt control adjusts the tilt tension. Even better, its hooded caster base plays nice with wood and vinyl floors as its wheels.

My son did it in a little more than an hour. The Lockdowel system definitely helps with easing assembly. It IS particle board with a veneer but sturdy. I love the colour and clean lines. I use the top shelf of the cabinet side for cable management which I love because looking at cables is my pet peeve. The half star deduction is given because the plug isn't flat and the hole at the back could be bigger or rectangular to allow more cables to pass through for people who have a lot of cables to hide. The reasoning I gave three stars and not five is because 1) we were missing the third cabinet to this 3-piece desk set when delivered and 2) the finish on the desk is very easily scratched. The finish also smudges very easily so it is difficult to keep it looking polished. You can see fingerprints like a cellphone screen everywhere! Other than that, the desk is simple and study.
