This is a beautiful addition to a colorful kitchen. I kind of freaked out the first time I used it. I baked a casserole uncovered. Once out of the oven, I put the lid on to keep the food warm and the dish had darkened. There were two different shades of yellow. Thankfully the color cooled to the right shade. What a relief!. I like the appearance of this and how it holds so many eggs, will be using this as a deviled egg holder. However was a bit disappointed in the top lid locking feature. I could not get one of the side tabs to lock into the main holder so the 3 other sides are holding it on. Am worried when I go to use it that it might come undone when carrying it by the handles..
