Hinges are strong and work well, they do have a little play in them so even if you level the doorgate they are attached to perfectly, expect a small bit of sag once tension goes on them. We tried twice with another supplier to purchase this drop rod for our new fence. Twice they said it was shipped and twice they cancelled the order and provided a refund. Both suppliers offered the same product but only Wayfair delivered the product promptly. I have always found that Wayfair has consistently offered quality products and seamless delivery.
