The chairs appearance is exactly like the photos. It’s beautiful and elegant. Keep in mind - The only purpose for this chair would be for a massage. You can’t really use it as a chair to sit in and watch TV because it’s very firm and pretty uncomfortable if you’re not using it for a massage. The heat function isn’t that great. As far as the massage goes, it’s very nice. If you like a deep massage be prepared to be sore the next day because the intensity is pretty high. As a medium build woman this is a perfect massage chair, but I can’t imagine a muscular man being comfortable because my shoulder blades touch the side wings of the chair, which is where design doesn’t meet comfort. I haven’t used the speaker system so I can’t comment on that. If I was going to review the shipping on this chair, it would be zero stars because when I ordered it, it took over a month and a half to ship when on the website I was told id get it that weekend!. I’m pretty happy with this chair! It was a good pick on terms of the style, quality and price. I would definitely say good value. The color is obviously not white, which I like. More of a gray leaning off white in my opinion. It was a lot heavier than I expected and arrived in one box, two pieces. No assembly instructions Assembly was pretty much placing the backrest onto the hinge. There doesn’t appear to be any fastening or bolt though. Beautiful sofa…sturdy and comfortable. It’s very modern and you cannot tell it is futon sofa. Dimensions are good…it’s a full size bed.. I put 4 inch trifold gel foam mattress on top for a high quality sleep surface. It’s not a sink in sofa…so hubby’s back is liking it. I’m actually coupling it with a trifold ottoman bed which is the exact same height….…and the two of them together make up a perfect California King size bed…luxurious for guests.
