Designed for flexible placement, it fits more easily in kitchens, garages, RVs, cabins, game rooms, and other limited spaces where a larger freezer may be less practical. Its small size also makes it a great backup freezer for specialty frozen items without taking up too much room.

I’ve been really happy with this freezer so far. It’s compact but has a surprising amount of space inside. I mainly use it for testing some of my devices, but it’s also been great for everyday food storage. I keep frozen berries, meat, and meals I prepare ahead for the week in it. The removable baskets make it easy to organize everything, and it gets cold quickly and holds the temperature well. Overall, a very useful little freezer without taking up much space.. Anonymous. First, Wayfair delivered this to me in two days, three days early! Kudos to Wayfair. There are virtually no combo units like this for less than $500 anywhere - more likely to get a nicer stainless bar fridge/freezer you'd spend nearly $2,000. Still, here's what you should know. The freezer has a small pipe up to the cooling area - that's how the cooling area is cooled....via the freezer. As cold air drops, that's why the minimum temperature of the cooling area is around 41 degrees. For me, the freezer was the main reason to buy this and the cooling area was for my mixers and therefore just a bonus. The unit is quiet and the blue light is pleasing. Overall this is a no-brainer for around $250. Update: one tradeoff is you'll likely need to manually defrost at least once a year. My fridge got warm when the freezer built up ice that blocked the passage between the freezer and fridge. Still a nice unit!. Jayson. MA. Tue Aug 18 2026

So we like and dont like this freezer. It was the most affordable ULT freezer we could find and got right down to -40, which is what we needed it for. However, when we get a power surge, even though the freezer is plugged into a surge protector, the compressor doesnt kick back on as the freezer starts to get warmer. Twice since buying it in early July we have had power surges and the power flickers in the house for a single second and comes right back on. Like even the clocks around the house (like on the microwave) dont reset like they do in a full outage. The freezer stays programmed at the temp we set, which is -40, but the compressor doesnt turn on so it heats up and destroys the food. Weve lost 400 in food so far. You have to physically unplug the freezer and replug it in to reset the compressor. And unless we are in the house when it happens, we dont know about it until we go to grab something from the freezer. So just consider that before buying.. Lyndsey. Newark, DE. Thu Aug 27 2026

The north air cooler I got initially started giving me an error code after one month of use. Ike emailed north air and they responded safely. They sent me a replacement and it’s been a month and it’s working very well. I am very happy with the service north here provided.. Anmol. Mon Aug 17 2026
