I am an avid collector of both indoor and outdoor plants. I don’t know how the Red Siam escaped my eyes during my visits to various nurseries. I do know that I am glad that I saw the Red Siam on the Wayfair site. The plant arrived in a plastic pot with the foliage securely covered to protect it from damage while being transported. There is no damage to the leaves or stems. The soil is a good quality and I don’t foresee a need to transplant it anytime soon. My only problem is the plastic that was used to keep the soil intact during shipment covers the drainage hole which can lead to overwatering. I had to remove the soil from the plant from the plastic and repot it. Otherwise, I anticipate a thriving plant to enjoy for years to come with proper care according to the instructions provided.. This is a really nice plant but it wasn't in the best condition when it arrived. The fin looks really dehydrated. It's starting to wrinkle. The tip of it looks dried out and damaged. A lot of the dirt spilled out of the pot in transit. On the plus side, it has no visible signs of pests. Update: this seller has amazing customer service. They saw my review and immediately reached out to assist me. I really do appreciate the attention they give to their customers. I really like this cactus. It came in a solid white planter and looks very pretty in our kitchen. My advice is to open this outside as there was a lot of loose dirt in the bottom of the package.
