This tile was ordered to accent a blank area above our stovetop. We originally had plans of insetting the tile; but, found that to be too cost prohibitive from a labor perspective. We decided instead to apply it using 3M tabs which worked GREAT! I ordered this tile and received it the first time with the corner broken into several pieces and one piece shattered - it was not reparable. Things happen, so I just asked for a return, which was honored. I just received the 2nd one and THIS one is also broken. ( It’s clear that the process used to package is ineffective with a thin layer of bubble wrap and a thin layer of styrofoam. I glued this piece back on since it was a larger chunk and I am now out of time to get my contractor to stay to hang it, but I am super angry that I have an imperfect piece for something so pricey. Ok tile. Needed an accent tile in powder room. Nice color just note the finish is not so good on the sides of the tile. The face is a nice brass gold but there is not even coverage on the sides. BEAUTIFUL TILE - HORRIBLE PACKAGING! This tile is gorgeous, but the packaging for shipment of the tile is horrible! During shipping due to the poor packaging most of the pieces have broken away from the net sheeting. I believe my contactor will still be able to apply it, but it will be like putting a puzzle back together & even more work.
