Just cooling and no heating. Adopting Semiconductor Refrigeration Technology (Peltier Effect). The internal cabinet temperature is affected by the set temperature and ambient temperature. Best for summer use, but if you place the device indoors at 75-78 ℉ in winter, it would be suitable, too. The internal humidity is affected by the internal temperature and the water box. (It works better if with humidity control packs.)

I have the larger 23L model and I bought this smaller one as a gift for a friend. After dealing with the inconsistent performance of gel crystals in Tupperdors, these thermostatic units from Needone are the answer. For less than 1/3 the cost of the cigars that they hold, they keep my cigars at the perfect temp and relative humidity (when using the proper Bovida paks) to keep my valuable cigar collection fresh..
