They really make the room look better. I took a star away because they are not very sturdy and even with light weight curtains on them, the longer rod bows down a bit (so not sure over time if it will get worse). I didn’t use the smaller gold brackets that came with them because I liked my thicker ones better. Very happy with this Wayfair purchase that their designer recommended. I ordered based on the picture which was a hexagon pattern finial in a natural tone and then received what the description describes. The curtain rod as described is hefty and beautiful. Beautiful rod. The wood end pieces have a beautiful farmhouse aesthetic. The rod itself is metal with a paint match to look like wood, however, it is not going to feel like wood.
