I was worried about assembly when it came in 2 boxes. I'm female and 62 years old, surprising it was not difficult. I love the way it looks and is very comfy. This sofa is sooo beautiful! It came in about five boxes packed to protect. The outer two sides are tufted to show style but the backs aren’t tufted. The whole sofa is very firm but soft. When I first sat down, I thought too firm, however, it has soften some. (I think it’s meant to last.) The center portion pulls out and will fit a twin size mattress, but I just love pulling it out and stretching out on the fullness of the sofa! The storage side is perfect for storing my throw blankets and whatever else. It comes with all the fluffy sofa pillows that feel so good and soft. It also comes with the two soft side pillows. This sofa is so luxurious that I now spend more time in my living room (on this sofa) than my den! I cover it with black sheets (I have a dog.) and when it is uncovered, my handheld vacuum cleans it wonderfully! My only dislike is the way it connects. The metal “slats”, I had to have my husband pry some of them open to connect them and lifting one section to connect to the other section was difficult, but worth it!
