It isn't heavy so is not difficult to handle, with that being said, the Mason Cash products are substantial and very well made. Love this bowl. I received it yesterday and it is the right size and the color is a vibrant orange. Ordered a similar bowl from a big online company the pic showed it a nice orange color but when it arrived it was a muted tan. I was happily surprised with the bowl from Wayfair.
