Mantua Wood Bed Frame bases are made from high-quality MDF boards. The flush-to-floor design prevents dirt and lost items from accumulating beneath the bed. Each panel is moisture sealed at the bottom to prevent warping from carpet shampoos or spilled liquids. Three heavy-duty angle iron cross supports, each with a center leg, brace the bed base. It comes in a warm cherry finish. No tools are required for assembly.

We bought two for our kids in their bedroom. It's easy to put together, it only took 1 hour to put them both together. It does not come with slats/base, so you either need a board, slats, or a foundation. With little kids we wanted them low to the floor, so we put a baseboard in that will take 100 lbs of weight. The reason for 4 stars is because it does feel a little weak, it creaks when even our kids wiggles in bed so it may not be strong enough to withstand adults / large kids.
