I live in FL where it’s rains a lot in Sept-Nov. then it starts out dry season in Dec. Every year our decorations throw the GFI between the rain in the wet season & the sprinklers in the dry season. I put this outside in a few storms, went back & checked it, the inside was dry. This is exactly what we need. I’m probably going to have to buy more. I like that it comes with two combination locks which makes it harder for ppl to steal our decorations, which yes is a real issue. The decorations are bulky which makes it too cumbersome & time consuming to steal them with everything plugged into the box & the box locked. They aren’t the best locks, but it’s enough to deter. Last year someone in my neighborhood woke up to over $2500 in Christmas decorations stolen, ppl here have started to lock them up. I’m just happy the GFI won’t have to be reset as often.. Deborah.
