It turned out beautiful. It wasn’t too bad putting it together, just take your time and the finished product will last a lifetime. The knotty alder wood is beautiful. I installed it between our master bedroom and bathroom, there was an archway without a door. So while my wife was away visiting family for a couple of weeks I ordered it and built and installed it before she got home. Nice Door, it comes already assembled, unlike some of the other barn doors I have purchased. The sides were a little rough but a little bit of sanding with the palm sander and its just fine. The hardware appeared well made, strong and sturdy. We did have challenges in identifying appropriate studs to secure the track as well as a problem where the trim was in the way. This was so much fun to put together. It was easy to do and I get to say I built the door myself. Just needed a flat place big enough to hold it and an extra pair of hands for a few minutes. Its beautiful. I stained one side (inside the bathroom) and painted the other side (in the hallway). It is a piece of my remodel that I can say I did that myself. It came out just beautifully..
