I've only used this knife for a week or so, but I can already tell it's much better than the one I had. It has some weight to it, but the balance is good. And it's REALLY sharp! I breezed through dicing a large onion in much less time than I ever did with my old chef's knife. I don't think I'll have to sharpen this knife, unlike my old one that dulled after just a few uses.
