I bought my current home five years ago and struggled with the large "farmhouse" stainless under-mount sink. I had to haul out a plastic dishpan if I wanted to have soapy water. And it was always dirty. People scraping food into it then dumping dishes on top. A NIGHTMARE. The two-bowl sink lets me clean on one side and confine food waste to the other.
