This Legend of Asia collection gathers six mini vases in six distinct silhouettes, from a slender bottleneck to a low rounded gourd, all finished in the same deep lang red. That copper based oxblood glaze is famously unpredictable in the kiln, so each red vase in the vase set moves between ruby, garnet and near black where the glaze thins at the rim. The tallest porcelain vase reaches 14 in H, with the others stepping down to create instant height variation on a table. Each piece is hand shaped and hand glazed, then high fired in southern China until fully vitrified and waterproof. Blue & White Temple Jar Foo Dog.

Strung one bead at a time in West Africa, this Legend of Asia strand carries the deep red of natural coral across dozens of hand-cut pieces. Each bead is shaped, drilled and polished individually, so tone, diameter and finish vary along the strand, giving these african beads the irregular rhythm that moulded imitations never manage. The coral beads hang in a long, easy loop and coil neatly into a dish or bowl. Use the bead strand as bowl filler on a coffee table, drape the red beads over a stack of books, or loop them across a tray for instant tabletop decor.
