The Toobaloo is a phone-like device that allows children to hear themselves clearly while speaking softly into it. The design of the Toobaloo magnifies their voice allowing them to hear their sounds and words distinctly. It helps students build confidence in reading and comprehension, provides motivation to read and reread their stories, gives students opportunities to read aloud daily, helps improve self-esteem for all levels of readers, can be used by speech pathologists to help clients with fluency disorders, monitor and regulate their speech, provides auditory feedback to help the clients detect their errors (articulation, phonological), can help to regulate the vocal intensity and self monitor their fluency and motivates students to use correct productions and good vocal qualities.

My 3 yr old grand daughter loved it! Such a simple concept, but very entertaining for me, watching her creative play in action! My one yr old granddaughter would just stand super still listening I presumed, to the sound of her breathing. Fun!. Anonymous. Thu Jun 28 2018
