Overall, I like the look of this piece. There were 20-something steps to build it, but it was all fairly easy and only a few parts where a second person was helpful. Most of it, you can build by yourself. The inly annoying part of the construction is there were very shallow guide holes in the veneer parts. I had to us a small round tip chisel and hammer to make some of them deeper. The only other flaw was some of the veneer finish was missing or rubbed off on the top. While its not made of solid wood, the materials feel sturdy and well-made. I especially appreciate the reinforced areas where the drawers are attached, since thats often a weak point with manufactured wood furniture. Its nice to see that they addressed that issue with this cabinet. The drawers arent very deep, but they have a nice width, so they still provide good storage. Very classic and real looking wood. While engineered, it’s slightly distressed white and realistic wood grain can easily look like real wood. This cabinet is going to be a fantastic place to store overflow kitchen bowls and appliances we have no room for in our new downsized kitchen. I would have given this 5 stars but for the difficulty of adjusting the doors to close without a gap in the middle and sticking. We followed the great I structions (genius- they labeled the screws to adjust and what direction- for each type of adjustment.
