I just received this bed today. My dog got in the bed within 5 minutes of me unpacking it and has been sleeping in for the last 3 hrs! She is a 50 lb., 1 12 yr old energetic pit bull. I can’t tell how highly unusual behavior this for her. I’m thrilled and apparently so is she! Overall, from my brief examination of the bed, it seems very well made, the fabric seems durable with a nice upholstery quality feel to it. The bed is quite overstuffed. I’ve gotten other beds that gave off weird chemical smells. This does not. I can’t comment yet on ease of cleaning, otherwise I’d give it a 5 star rating. As I said my dog is 50 lbs and I got the large size. It’s roomy for her when she curls up but perfect for her to lounge and stretch in. She’s done both in the 3 hours she’s been zonked out on it.. I like that the crate cover is very clean looking. It has one tie at the bottom of each side of the front to secure it more tightly to the crate. The crate mattress is fine. Not as thick as id like but serves its purpose. Not sure if it will hold up in a washing machine yet if needed. My only complaint is in regards to the side bumper pad thats included. It has several ties on it that allow you to secure it to the crate panels. They are difficult to tie down tight enough even when you double knot them. And of course the first thing the Pup noticed was the ties and instantly gravitated to chewing them while i was trying to tie them. So im not quite sure how long theyll last before she chews the ties off or the entire bumper. I wish there was a better way to secure it down because i do think the bumper provides more comfort as she typically lays up against the walls of the crate.. Anonymous. Farmers Branch, TX.
