Yes, you really DO need this! Now that I have this, I can't imagine ever being without it! I have looked at and wanted a bidet for years and finally picked this one. We can't replace our toilet, and you don't need to, this Bidet Seat has EVERYTHING and works with your elongated toilet. It was a 3-minute install, so very easy to get it set up and running. We also do not have an outlet in the toilet room itself, but we ran a (3-prong) extension cord along the wall and plugged it into the closest outlet. We attached the cord with self-stick cord guides, and to me, it's worth seeing the cord along the floor. Ok, here's all the fun stuff, the LED lights can be changed or turned off. They are fun and double as a nightlight. What I really love is all of the sprayer options. You can change the water temperature, nozzle position, water pressure, front or rear sprayer, and the handheld sprayer along the side is great for cleaning the toilet. The seat opens and closes automatically when you walk up to it. I turned this feature off and just press a button on the remote to open and close. There is a dryer that also has temperature and air speed options. All of this can be turned on or off or adjusted with a touch of a button on the remote. There is a self-flush kit that is an option and the remote is set up for that. I didn't know about this or buy this, but decided I don't really need that. This is really truly amazing, the level of hygiene I have now makes this worth every single penny. I honestly can't imagine being without this. We mounted the remote on the wall (remote/wall hanger is included), and I just leave it there and push buttons. There is no extra spray, no leaking, no delays, everything works perfectly. Lastly, when unboxing, I noticed the seat opening looked slightly smaller than the toilet seat we were removing but, do not be alarmed because it is not noticeable at all when using, and I believe this is necessary for the water to stay inside. This is designed so incredibly well. I will never again have a toilet without a bidet seat. This is very high quality, I give it 10 stars, and I highly recommend this!. Ljc777. San Diego, CA.
