The hardware package has lag bolts for the wooden wall/drywall/concrete wall. If you have a door trim, you’d better put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the rail to the header board.

The hardware is exactly how it was described and nothing is “wrong” with it, but it just doesn’t fit within the space I needed it for, on the door that I have for that same space. The bolt ends with caps on them stick out from the door so far that those bolt caps end up scratching the wall every time we open and close the sliding door. I am writing this review solely based on the packaging and quality of the product in the box as we are not quite ready to install. The pieces are a very heavy metal with a matte black finish. I am excited about how this will ultimately look in our finished basement. We are planning to use the barn door setup to separate an exercise area from a “family room” area. I had our contractor look it over and he was quite impressed with the quality for the price. He also said that it included excellent quality screws and bolts. He said that often times those are sub par and don’t hold up well after repeated use of the doors. (He also said he often buys “after market” bolts to get the job done right.)
