It's nice. It dehumidifies. It ISN'T a 50-pint dehumidifier though & there's lots of poor design choices. The tank holds maybe 8-10 pints, so if you empty it 5 or more times per day it might, technically, remove 50 pints during a 24 hour period (from EXTREMELY humid air). You have to continually pull out the tank & empty it though, or attach the hose to the back & let it continually drip out BUT the hose will only drip out to an area BELOW the dehumidifier so you have to keep it in your bathtub or put it on a tabletop beside an open window. The unit has non removeable wheels too, so it's not even safe to have it sitting high up on the edge of a table. I attached a photo of this unit [left] with an ACTUAL 50-pint dehumidifier [right]. The real 50-pint dehumidifier has a full-sized 50-pint tank that fills up completely 2x per day in my basement in the summer. There's no difference in quality between that one and this one, but it's also $370. This one was $170 & I intend to only use it as a back up.. 來. NJ. Fri Oct 03 2025
