This doormat looks like it will work great for grabbing dirt from outside on shoes and paws so it doesn’t track into the house. The reason I think this is that the material is rougher, and woven so that surface up close is not smooth and flat. It’s more like a loop weave. I am not sure how absorbent it will be, but it does seem like you could absorb excess fluid with a towel if needed.
