This is a great little trash can but I'm used to slightly larger ones. Though it is standard size, it feels like it fills up quickly. Great product. Those that say trash bags don't fit aren't using it correctly. It's a little different than a standard trash can. There is an insert at the top of the internal container that has two arms that flip up. The garbage bag goes around those arms, not around the entire top of the insert.
