Scraplights are constructed from natural recycled cardboard precision cut by a laser. This gives the edges their classic dark appearance and enhances the warm light projected through the corrugation. The classic series includes many of the best-selling models such as the Moon and Disc, along with newer designs like the Hive and Nest. The Hive and Nest pendants are the only members of the Scraplights collection that feature angled layers. A custom inner ring allows the cord set and bulb to hang straight.

Depending on the finish, each piece of a Scraplights fixture is precision-cut with a laser or knife – Natural and Blonde welcome the subtle patina of the edge burn from the laser, while the White finish requires the use of a knife to achieve the pristine, white edges. Tough and elegant, each fixture is assembled by hand using non-toxic adhesive, and all Scraplights are treated with a non-toxic fire retardant. By default, all Scraplights Clusters with a Natural finish will come with a black cord/canopy, and those with a White/Blonde finish will come with a white cord/canopy. Circular Clusters are designed with a default drop length of 5 feet and Linear Clusters are designed with a default drop length of 3 feet from the canopy to the bottom of the lowest pendant. Pendants will come with 3 meter cords by default. The cords can be retracted into the canopy (it is recommended to leave 4 inches between the canopy and the top of the highest pendant), and the cords can be extended to a maximum length of 2.75 meters (9 feet). Circular clusters will come with a 24" circular canopy (surface-mounted) and linear clusters will come with a 5" x 43" linear canopy (surface-mounted). Customization options are available upon request, such as: cord color, cord length, canopy color, canopy size/shape/type.
